The Global Anthem, “Globally We Sing; Erase 19” Is Being Played Around The World, And Its Singer Wants It Dedicated To India
American, singer-songwriter Temperance Lancecouncil, who wrote, arranged and performed the popular, universal anthem, says she felt emotionally compelled to pen the song, “Globally We Sing; Erase 19.” She’s an artist who is using her voice to promote global solidarity regarding the world’s pandemic, and she now wants the song specifically dedicated to India.
“I believe the world needed an anthem to bring us all together as we tackle this pandemic, and this song is my way of saying that we are all in this together and all global citizen-partners need to help each other. After becoming aware, specifically of what’s occurring in India right now, I just want the song dedicated to India.” That’s the proclamation of the singer, who says she’s just so very saddened by what’s happening there. As an artist, she says that she can communicate with music and that’s why she hopes more citizens there can hear the song.
“Globally We Sing; Erase 19” is an inspirational song of hope for all citizens of the world. The song begins with Lancecouncil asking the world to join together to sing along with her. The universal anthem references Polish-French physicist, Marie Curie and American virologist, Jonas Salk. It ends with a reference to all global citizens to ‘save the world.’ It’s also been the recipient of heartfelt and powerful reviews from song reviewers and bloggers from all around the world.
A reviewer in India, IG4 MUSIC, has said this about the anthem: “One of the most promising and surprising tracks of 2021 is by far “Globally We Sing; Erase 19” by Temperance Lancecouncil… we loved the experimental RnB sounds, the soulful atmosphere, and the Country hints.”
Lancecouncil says she’s trying to use her voice as an artist to uplift, unify and inspire global solidarity. That solidarity extends to every medical front-line and first-responder around the world who’ve worked so bravely and diligently during this horrific time of need around the world.
She continues explaining that she recently read that the executive director of UNICEF, Henrietta Fore, told an American news outlet that the global organization is “very worried” about the current Covid-19 crisis in India, and that there is an urgent need for the world to do more to help. We’re all in this pandemic together, and that’s exactly what my song unequivocally expresses – how much we have to work together.
Her song is full of passion and compassion because the lyrics came from her heart and soul, and she stated that words just flowed easily as she penned the tune. She’s had several songs on the charts where she sings and writes about her own life growing up in a small town – a town that was once known for its world-famous tobacco crop. This time out, however, with her inspirational and universal anthem, “Globally We Sing; Erase 19,” she’s writing and singing about a life and death pandemic, that will certainly go down in world infamy.
Lancecouncil can only say that she hopes the world does come together as soon as possible and do what is necessary to help out it’s global relative, India. Finally, she says her global, musical offering and her financial UNICEF contribution is small, within the scope of such a humongous problem, but if more global citizens do a little to help, then that would be an amazing affirmation of global unity as we all come together to help save the world.
